you need to look at the panthers and the saints....we beat both of them but at the same time they have upped their records to 4-2 and 5-1 respectively. Then you look at the vikings and pack......again those same records. Then you have the whiners 5-0 and the hawks 4-2 (and they have wins against us). The only people in our area is in the NFC East, at 3-3, and only 1 of them will get in the dance as division champ.
If it continues as it goes we need BIG help all along the way to get over all those 4-2 and better teams, on top of that we need to not lose games in order to get over them as well. I just don't see it as a high chance to happen, not saying they can't, but really IMO the gelling as we all call it should be kinda going from gelling to actually improving...it just isn't happening.
I think that McVay is just not helping things with these slow developing pass plays, he just has no 2 step and throw it type deals. If your line is not very good IMO you need to do something to at least take some pressure off them, IMO he's not doing that.
Good teams find ways to win even ugly, everyone else loses....right now....for real we are in that everyone else territory....We have good players, but they are all in the same area of play...no one on that line is playing well....no one is showing up to be good.
Having to win and have help is a dangerous thing! You never want to put yourself in that kind of a situation. You can't depend on it. The old we've gotta win, and have such and such win, or such and such lose, well that sucks! Win your games, control your own destiny, and then you don't have to worry about that mess. Unfortunately, we've put ourselves in a very precarious situation, and it's not good!
