IDK, but if the Skins get gutted after the season, Manusky runs a 34 and has been in the middle of the pack rankings wise up to this year and he and McVay were together in DC. Just spitballing. I personally have no idea, but he would have the experience that McVay would like so he can keep his focus on the offense when the defense is on the field.
Changes are coming, but I don't think they will be sweeping changes, partially due to cap space and partially due to a lack of quality replacements that fit the systems.
I would start at OC, with Tyler Biadasz OC from Wisconsin. 6-3 and 310 so not undersized. He is a real thumper with a nice mean streak and is a smooth mover, making him perfect for any scheme. Noteboom is moving to LT, and I really think Edwards is a OG of the future. TE turned OL from that same Wisconsin team. So it leaves you with Noteboom, Edwards, Biadasz, Blythe, Havs. So much better IMO.
THe QB, WR, TE and RBs aren't changing. Gurley costs too much and he is locked in fully for 2020 at least. So the 3 RBs are locked in for at least 1 more year. TE depth might be addressed.
Not wholesale changes on offense. IMO
On defense, Fowler, Brockers, And Peters are gone. Not near the production for the potential cost. No idea on No Chains. But I like the idea of bringing in Harris Jr from Denver if wade stays. Litttleton stays, safeties are in a good spot for at least next year.
So the Rams need DL help, at least 1 edge rusher and 1 CB. Again, not sweeping changes.
Going into todays game, the Rams were tops in QB pressure percentage, and led the league last year. They just aren't finishing...
