Everett is pushing for playing time now, Higs is also playing well, so suddenly the 12 personnel set is something McVay will go with. 12 personnel, IMO, has always been about Everett being ready and he is now. Not only is he doing well in the passing game but he also had a lot of great blocks vs the Seahawks on the edge where his assignment was required for the off tackle runs.
I like Cooks and all but he's not really a critical piece for us when teams are getting pressures on the OL. IMO for right now and this game McVay has to be able to show some physicality in this offense and ability to threaten the middle of the field in the passing game.
Then you have the RB situation. Which is similar in that the Rams need to get one of these backs rolling as the guy they can depend on. Rams are limiting TG's touches to ~15 per game, so it's going to be interesting to see if they can find that element from Brown or Henderson.
Oh and Matthews... Yeah that sucks we don't have him. He would feast on Sunday if he were in this game. But hopefully Ebu and maybe Obo will step it up.
