unless you define 'crucial' as knocking them out of the playoffs, or even more than likely to knock them out.
The Ram's simply have not gotten it together for a full game this year. They've had 'moments'... but nothing consistent yet. Therefore: (and IMHO)
They've got the talent, they've got the coaching, they aren't making it work... and since they have not made it all work yet a loss this weekend to SF mean 6 weeks and they aren't out of the blocks yet, they haven't figured things out yet. So they'll enter week 7 yet again looking to do so... nearly half way thru the season...and that is LATE.
But in the end.. whether you or I consider it 'crucial' the Rams simply must. IMHO this is a nothing held back and balls to the wall game. - JamesJM
