Short of manipulation to directly aid or impede team "A" I don't think there is an answer for this.

Which brings up... why are the Patriots so dominant? Brady is certainly a factor, a big one... but to me it's Belichick. The man knows his stuff, better than every other coach in the NFL. The man could take a tortoise and find a way to get him open. - JamesJM
