I can agree that Goff has looked off the prior games but aside from the stats I didn't see it in this game.
I see a QB who is under huge, unprecedented pressure, who is standing in the pocket, moving around when necessary and delivering.
My gripe is more with the lack of a quick passing game. I think McVay needs to adapt his scheme. But for someone who is under pressure 50+% of the time, I think Goff did ok yesterday.
If I had to hone in a focus on the offense, I'd say OL and scheme. And given that the OL is what it is, I think it's up to McVay to make adjustments.
IMO this season is shaping up to test him more than anyone.
But...the defense was the disappointing thing. I thought it was going to be very good this year.
