Sean McVay offered no excuses for the Los Angeles Rams' shocking 55-40 defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, calling it "a wake-up call for everybody".
The Rams went to the Super Bowl last season and started the new NFL campaign 3-0, but they were upset by the Buccaneers in a high-scoring clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
Although it was a rare setback for Los Angeles, McVay was not looking to evade criticism and accepted responsibility for the loss.
"I'm not going to sit up here and continue to make excuses for why I'm not doing a good enough job," he told reporters. "I'm just not doing it right now, we're not getting it done. We're just going to continue to put our heads down and try to find solutions.
