I was hoping the OL would not be an issue but I'm not sure where the issue is. Havenstein is having a bit of untimely trouble with the speed rushers and Whit is mostly just solid. A running game would make things a lot easier on them... on everyone really... including coaches.
I agree on Peters but not just for the lack of judgment at times. I just feel like he is a problem waiting to happen. And paying out a large contract to him seems like money not wisely spent. I feel like the front office outsmarts themselves at times.
The preseason rust should be knocked off by now. So the penalties, etc. are a bit of a mystery.
A running game eliminates 80% of the offense woes.
The defense? Way too much talent to get run over and destroyed like that. Wow. The offense has enough talent to score 20 plus a game even without a running game. The defense has no excuse other than Wade. Receivers were wide open all day... and then for the players to say "they didn't do anything we haven't seen"... WHAT? then what does that say about the defense? Knew it was coming and could barely slow it down.
