"Shut down the run and get after them in the pass"
That's a formula to beat any offense. But now it seems like defenses are actually able to do that consistently against the Rams.
The Rams' success was off play action... made it so much easier. Now that it's gone offense isn't so easy. And some of the players no longer look as good.
That said... the defense was terrible. The receivers were consistently wide open and the QB had all day to throw for the most part. Way too many good players to get beat that bad. A pitiful showing... I'm looking more at Wade than I am at the players. Kudos to Arians for totally destroying Wade.
I agree with McVay that he has to do better but how long does that take? "We've got to do better" is the mantra... and it's not only getting old it's becoming "Fisher-eqsue" and meaningless. But then what else is there to say?
The Rams are forming an identity of a team that doesn't start well... Which is fine when you win, lol
