I know what you are saying Max - and I agree but a couple of those he was whacked in the process of throwing, I think the last one he should have ate it.
For me, it’s the eyeball test. He gets slapped around too easily. Almost every drop back I’m fearful that he’s gonna get strip sacked, because he is more susceptible to it than other good QBs. He just doesn’t play strong in the pocket. I get it that he’s not a big strong physical guy, but that means he must compensate by being more alert to what’s going on around him. He thinks he can get rid of the ball and not take the sack, but he’s wrong too often and it leads to turnovers.
I’m not blaming him for all of the problems, but when you make him the highest paid QB, you should expect more. At least to the point of not fumbling 14 times in 13 games.
