I have been consistent in believing that one of there areas McVay needs to grow in is making adjustments. I think this year he seems to be doing a much better job especially at the half time break. I think the next step is to make adjustments even quicker which means within the first half. The holy grail will be to recognize the defensive weakness and automatically adjust in play to exploit that weakness. This is a growth area for McVay and Goff and I think they are going to need to do something different during the first 15 seconds. Perhaps if they lined up quicker they would see the defense earlier and would be in position to make changes quicker even having a few seconds to collaborate on the audible. This would make the defense adjust to the Rams offense which is when things really take off for us.

After further review of the Browns game, it was execution not coaching that slowed us down in the first half....mainly big drops were the culprit. The Rams were going up and down the field after our first drive that was a three and out. Missed FG, fumble and four drops (2Cooks 1 Kupp 1 woods) is the only thing that stopped us. I think McVay already has a good idea how to beat the 6-1 defense, it's execution at this point .... I believe we will see a much sharper offense this week
