When my Dad surprised the hell out of me with tickets to my first Rams game in person. I remember game day VIVIDLY. From the drive down Hwy 301 and I-75 to Tampa....What we had for lunch (Burger King)......The excitement of seeing Tampa Stadium as we approached......THEN walking from the concourse through the bright tunnel to the inside of the stadium and seeing those SOOOOOOOOOO cool road blue n yellows under that bright Tampa sun. I was a VERY quiet kid but Dad recalled the sly grin on my face. The game was all Dickerson. Jeff Kemp had a few key passes and Leroy Irvin had a couple of HUUUGE interceptions to seal the 34 to 33 win. By the way, two of the most famous highlights of Dickerson I always see were from that game. I cannot believe that was almost 35 years ago. I THINK it was the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
