lets say JG stays healthy and he's the difference in several of the close games they lost last year (not to mention their ridiculous defensive front) and healthy stable of RBs
lets just say with the team health they win 4 more games ... that makes them 8-8
Now lets say JG develops under Shanahan much like Goff has under McVay, Pettis and other WRs continue to develop, and wait for it... the Rams take a step back and aren't a 13-3 this year but closer to 10-6. The Rams split with the Niners and Hawks and lose a couple of close games this year that they would have won with their offense last year but don't have that element this year
The 49ers easily could be a playoff team... it simply doesn't take that much imagination to see it. Forget fans... what does your football sense (spidey) tell you
Mine tells me they are coming. They are young team that is very well coached and has been just devastated by injuries the last two years.
Don't have to like them... to see that.
