No one is saying he's playing lights out either or that he can't improve, heck even the great Aaron Rodgers has had under 100 rating 4 of the last 5 years....there is still plenty of time for Goff to get back to pro bowl level play by the time the playoffs start....McVay could help with some better play calls and the drops last week didn't help much either... if you watch the games he has made plays clutch plays to help this team win. It's not like he's atrocious right now. We have all seen what the kid can do and should not be so concerned that he won't ever be that good again.... he's basically just starting his third year and one of the younger QB's in the league. Trust me, for selfish reasons I need him to start throwing TD's as I have him in fantasy but I'll take a Rams win everyday over my fantasy wins , but three games into the season I'm not worried about him as much as others I guess.
I'm much more concerned with the o-line and the way we are using Gurley right now.... but have 100% confidence that McVay and Kromer will get it figured out sooner than later
I partially agree with you. He's not atrocious. I've seen the clutch plays. But there are some bad ones too. I didn't expect this level of inconsistency from him.
From what I can tell, he hasn't improved. I don't see how that can't be concerning. Not panic, freak-out level concern but a concern nonetheless.
So for me, he's officially moved into my list of offense concerns right along with the OL and Gurley.
