1. Won an NFL Road Game
2. Had a minus 2 Turnover differential.
3. Gained 5.4 yards per play and allowed 4.3 yards per play
4. Allowed 2 sacks and 3 QB hits--to a team with elite pass rushers like Garrett, and Vernon.
5. Missed a FG. Still won by 7.
6. Browns were 6-18 33.3% of 3rd and 4th downs.
If that is us playing badly we are a pretty good team. For me the first 8 games is about stacking wins, staying healthy, and getting better.
Best thing to come out of this game imo--Goff's ability to avoid the pressure, move slightly, fire strikes. That kid is always looking downfield to make a play. This is a huge improvement in his game. Second, Fowler is showing elite pass rushing. His get off and bend is elite. Third, Brockers is a different player--much more explosive and faster this year. Last, should be said after every game--Talib is excellent. Hopefully, we lock him up before the end of the season.
Wtf, was that penalty on Rapp on the last drive? Weak.
