I watched a good YouTube about why so many teams passed on Mahomie.

If you look at his college highlights, a number of those cross field type throws were picked off. It seemed he didn't always make the best decisions.


The reason it is working in the NFL is because Andy Reid is basically running an air raid type offense. And Mahomes can hit anyone on the field from anywhere on the field.

My point being, if you let 4 and 5 receivers out on every play, Mahomes can buy time not getting sacked and then eventually there will be at least one open man and Mahomes can hit him from anywhere.

If he were on a less aggressive team that only sent out 2 and 3 receivers, he would be getting sacked and throwing picks.

They did look a little more beatable today, but Baltimore kept shooting themselves in the foot alot. I do agree you have to keep the ball away from Mahomie.

He is special. Reinventing the position. Basically what Tiger woods did to Golf, he seems to be doing the NFL QB position.
