And you acknowledge that McVay and Kromer are experts in getting the D to move laterally. So it's possible that the physical weaknesses that you're seeing are completely valid but are far down the list of things that are important to Kromer. Is this possible?

If so, then this is where trust the coach comes in. I'm also not a blind trust the coaches person either but I also know it doesn't make sense to force my criteria of what I like to see on them.

As for the one performance, VB's article was just a puff piece and the coaches talk could be exactly that - coach speak. I don't know if they feel his performance was good or stabilized the other day but it does them absolutely no good to publicly say they have a problem with him. Of course they are going to build him up. And maybe they like what he can bring long term.

Basically right now there are a few fan OL examinations around out there on the Rams net. They are all highly critical of Demby's play. I predicted it wouldn't go that way but that's the way it's going.

And Kromer had a press conference today. His assessment of the OL as a whole, particularly pass protection, is not rosey. He's not openly critical but you can hear the faint praise.
