That unit has work to do in developing together. But honestly I don't think they've done badly at all. Whitworth is Whitworth. Havenstein has allowed a few pressures. I've seen nothing from Allen and Noteboom suggesting they are liabilities. They're simply learning and, I think, improving. Let's see where they are after 5-6 games. I also think Goff has to get the ball out a bit faster. That strip sack by Jordan was on him in my opinion.
They do need to prepare well for Myles Garrett this Sunday. And speaking of bad offensive lines, look no further than Cleveland...
We definitely should wait and see but after 2 games, I don't think the OL has been a shining point.
They're giving up way too much pressure. There was a point in the NO game where I saw a graph showing how much pressure Goff was under in his dropbacks. It was in the 50% range. Think about that: he was under pressure half the time!
Whit has allowed 5 pressures this year which is on pace for most allowed in his career. Hav had a bad day against Cam. It's been more than a few pressures that he has allowed.
I think NB has been ok and Allen surprisingly may be the best performing linemen right now. I see that as good news. The OTs after 2 games haven't been as solid as usual but they're vets and I expect them to get it together.
