You could argue there has never been a perfect throw in the history of the NFL. And I agree that if it's 2-3 feet further out Cooks scores. But let's be real - he let that thing fly at the ~24 and Cooks hauled it in at the ~15. That's 61 yards in the air and he missed a "perfect" throw by maybe 2-3 feet. I think there are only a handful of completions in the entire league each season that travel over 60 yards in the air, and Josh Allen had the longest one last year (63.9).

So yeah, it wasn't "perfect" - but I can't imagine a coach at any level anywhere saying other than "Great ******* throw kid" when watching that tape. So let's make sure we give due credit. It will probably be top 10 in air distance traveled for 2019, and was absolutely a great throw and catch.
