I think having Brown show out with Gurley on the bench is very good...cuz when TG is out teams forget about the run and allow us to get into a rhythm. imo
I loved the Rams opened with 10 groupings(4Wrs) and went empty backfield for 10 straight plays...I thought it opened things up a bit even if it wasn't that successful for us..it didn't play into our normal - establish the run- approach, that I think the Panthers were waiting to stuff. It was smart move by McxVay to anticipate that and pass 10 straight times to start the game. Good stuff. Rapp made some really solid tackles and was very near contesting passes. Littleton is just a baller...flat out. He made so many plays by just hustling!! Fowler flashed with 2 sax. I think we let Peters go...and take the comp pick and draft a CB #1 next year. Peters doesn't do much in this defense, it seems. This defense needs Safetys more than CBs although everyone says otherwise...but I just rarely see our CBs make plays on the ball or tackle...and that it's mostly Safetys that do the tackling and coverage work for our defense. just my opinion.
