Like last years defense they made a ton of big timely plays

But the run defense was atrocious and they struggled covering the backs and TEs on short and intermediate routes. Not exactly a good thing if you have Kamara and Cooks getting passes from Drew Brees

I thought the Rams were kind of vanilla defensively so I’m thinking that may have had something to do with it... maybe they thought the Panthers could not beat them with McCaffrey? I know a stretch but its late man lol
