Eric Henderson is the new Defensive Line Coach and Tanzel Smart took to the new Coach and improved in many areas, wheras JFM did not and did not look good in preseason and must have been the same in training camp. The return of Morgan Fox also played into the equation. Coach Henny is an upgrade IMO over Bill Johnson from the first two years, so I trust the evaluation process as I felt Smart would be the one cut, but he outplayed Franklin-Myers and is more versatile as he can play some NT at times too.
