I know Bones was hot to get him, but that's only relevant on draft day. He was, what a 7th rounder? No shame in saying he's not ready to be a depth safety and put him on the practice squad. I'm not sure he's put enough on tape this preseason to make him a target for other teams' active rosters. Some of the other DB's and Wr's won't be so easy to stash.

Scott is a lock, IMO.
don't want to put words in promo's mouth but i think the question is - did scott show the st promise in the pre season that bones pounded the table over. that didn't pop out for me in the pre season games but neither did anyone else jump out as an alternative - mainly because i wasn't paying enough attention to st coverage plays. can anyone testify on scott's st coverage show in pre season?
