i can't vote for patrick or webster as my off the radar guy who makes the final 53 because they climbed up into my radar early and often through the pre season games.
i'm thoroughly smitten by patrick. convinced he'll make the 53 barring injury or an off field problem. and i look forward to watching him progress.
i agree with those who see webster as better than natson. clearly as a wr. debatable as a return guy - natson looks like a risk/return guy: could break a long one, could turn it over. webster looks safer but less likely to break the long one. personally, i prefer safe when you have an offense and a field goal kicker with the quality of what the rams have.
so for me, i'll go with vitas or brewer because demby seems to have opened the door, particularly with his play at center. the one thing i wonder about with demby is whether the pre season games were just about if he could play center and if the coaching staff is already sold on him as a back up guard.
the other direction i could go in is williams or parker in the d secondary. they've both been noticeable in a positive manner. i'm assuming peterson makes the 53 over hatfield so the 2 would be in competition with hatfield and more importantly scott. scott because he was drafted for special teams. did either outshine scott on special teams?
