I know that his stats have been pretty decent, but has anyone besides me thought that he just threw a very labored and not very accurate pass?
I have only seen parts of 2 preseason games, but in those games I though Wolford looked much better than Allen. Allen has an ungainly throwing motion, seems to take much longer than Goff or Wolford to wind up and throw, and his accuracy is subpar. I saw him make several completions, but in most or at least several of them I thought his WRs bailed him out by making a nice catch on an inaccurate pass. And he always seems to be aiming 2 feet above the receivers heads so that they have to jump for the ball. I also saw him just plain miss on open receivers while not dealing with pressure.
I'm no scout, is anyone else seeing what I am seeing?
