McVay has forced the leagues hand on this issue, Ba Bye to 1 or 2 preseason games and 1 or 2 additional regular season games.
The dam has burst, many are following suit and resting starters, or at least starters that have the requisite work on their resumes.
Say hello to more joint scrimmages in the future.
