How many head coaches have come out of New England and done much of anything. All are painted as 'the next Bellicheck' Then there's the Jacoby Brisett's, Matt Cassel's, and now Garrapaolo. All the fake insider practice whispers - 'he's better than Brady in practice' When will people realize that Patriot greatness is not a product of some system - but of 2 guys - Brady and Bellicheck. There will never be a tandem like this again.
I see similar things with McVay - for a while everyone he ever shook hands with is going to be 'the next'. McVay is special - he's unique, you can't bottle that - though many will try. Think about who he worked with - Jon Gruden, Kyle Shanahan, Jay Gruden - he's already better than they are.
