messy affair for the club
flags, flags, and yep....more
WR
Hodge, Mike Thomas, Bachman, Webster All caught a ball or a bit more
Bachman a former local HS football player targeted a number of times; one of them a tough ball to pull in
OL
meh. credit to the Raiders OL. seemed to keep their guys cleaner than ours
DL
meh
some credit T. Young #49. pretty active on the night. Reeder was prowling the neighborhood, too.
not sure if I'm supposed to be concerned about rushing the QB. first preseason game: I'll see how it goes in Hawaii
LB
Dakota Allen did have a highlight tackle. Big contact.
DB
credit Raiders WRs made some fine receptions on tight coverage.
RB
meh
TE
meh. TBH Allen or Wolford utterly blew an easy toss to TE Brooker. Brooker would have rumbled to a first down, but the toss was completely behind him
qb
meh. Bortles rolled and ran on one play, and moved pretty well.
coaching
the Rams joined the Lions, and Jaguars in not scoring a TD.
Rams 3 pts, Lions 3 pts, Jags 0 pts
Coach knows who is playing. Would like to see them look composed on offense.
Waldron called the game. Not that the calls were an issue
Kromer will be busy with his "second and third unit" guys this coming week.
yes.....folks will say it's preseason and it totally is, but I'd prefer not to see an offense that can't convert a 3rd down against other 2nd and 3rd unit squads, or find their way down the field and punch in a TD.
Aloha, dudes
