I think Blythe gets beat out by end of the year or moves to Center if Allen is overpowered too much...imo.
But with Blythe being a FA after this year and wanting a bunch of money...I wonder if the coaches won't fill his spot with a rookie or Demby.
I think Demby at RG would be the upset for Blythe...as I think there's more upside with Demby and not too much drop-off by year's end.

The following is pure speculation on my part and camp hasn’t yet started, much less preseason games, so take this with a grain of salt.
I suspect that Allen is more likely to seize the starting position at C than Blythe is likely to seize the starting position at RG, despite the differences in experience in the league, much less as a starter. There, I said it.
Might be just a hunch, or whatever, but I sense that Allen is gonna be solid there at C.
But there are questions about Blythe at RG, aren’t there? Questions that need to be answered this summer. Plus, there may be as many as 3 candidates in Demby, Evans, and Edwards to challenge Blythe if he fails to impress. That’s some considerable competition, don’t you think?
For now, I would say that Blythe is my pick for weakest link on the OL. Wonder what Kromer is thinking...
