yup, agree with you both...

So many of these articles that the Rams will not win the division or not be a play-off team seem contrived, to me
and don't make sense.

If injury strikes, okay I get it their record may suffer...but if injuries hit any team they will have problems!!
BUt we lost TG and Kupp last year - both whom most folks would say are central to our offense being competent...
and the Rams scored more pts without those two players. So, it seems that McVay can coach around injuries to all but one...
....only Goff is indispensable to this team we can survive - even thrive - without all but Goff and AD probably. imo

a Goff injury would cause me to rethink our record...AD is second...and that's it!! I think we have good depth at all positions and will be competitive if we do not lose Goff or maybe AD. But our defense was 22nd last year or something and if we lose AD we'd have not far to fall. We gave up the highest rushing avg last year on defense and still went to the SB cuz of the offense...that's why Goff is the one we cannot lose to injury. imo
