Suh was tying up 2 and 3 people? If he was, why did our run defense struggle so much?
He was dogging it until the playoffs, and he was never a low pad space eater, he was always a big play guy who took breaks.
Replacing (regular season) Suh isn't going to be that hard, and could even be an improvement with a true run stuffer in there.
I don't know if that's Gaines or not. I think it is.
Littleton was question mark going into last season, and I thought he looked like a budding star at times.
The Rams know how to turn question marks into exclamation points!!
I really trust that this coaching staff knows what they're doing. Obviously, nobody's perfect.
I see them as refining this roster every year since McVay got here, honing it more and more into the shape that he and Wade want it to be.
It's going to be another great season!
I'm inclined to agree with you.
I have some faith in Kiser, for one, and the secondary is shaping up to be very good, in fact probably one of the best Rams secondaries ever--and it's deep too.
If the edge rush doesn't materialize it looks like the plan is to use that versatile secondary to scheme in some offensive hesitation and maybe a few coverage sacks.
