My responses:
Rams O just might reclaim the #1 position, but I see the D rising to top 5 status, at most. Maaaaaybe Top 3, but that would be awesome.
I think (and hope) that the Rams make Peters prove himself before granting a humongous extension. Could be as little as 6-8 games, but first he plays lights out, THEN he gets the big bucks. The reported bumper crop of CB’s in this coming ‘20 draft is a very viable option.
I doubt that AD will break the Strahan sack record if only because AD will be more focused on defending the run this year. That change late last year coincided with the vastly improved Ram D numbers. I expect AD to continue that trend. It makes for a more effective D, overall.
Goff breaking all those passing records is also unlikely simply because the Rams will be playing with a lead oftentimes. I expect a heavy dose of Gurley/Brown/Henderson in second halves of most games.
Rematch with the Patriots would be a dream come true for obvious reasons. TBH, though, I think that the Rams are more likely to get back to the SB than the Pats.
