Well, I get the satire of people who believe TG's knee must mean he is no longer a good back. But not everyone thinks that. A lot of people realize that a back can manage an arthritic knee and still play. So to me, the people who think there is no knee issue are in the same boat with those who exaggerate how bad it will be.

But there are always gonna be people on the extreme ends of issues.

David Carr said in regards to arthritis, it’s all about inflammation. My guess is Gurley is now on a anti-inflammatory program, and that has an excellent chance of working.

That would make sense. Managing it can work anyway, even before those new trends. As I said, players have played RB and WR before with arthitic knees. A lot of it, they say, is pain tolerance. I suppose the real enemy is inflammation. And it sounds like there's exericise routines and dietary changes that can cope with that.

Now fer summ speculation. I bet this came up before 2018. He was not the same back in 2016. McGinnis said he wasn't healthy that year. It was after that season that he first started training under Gaines. And in terms of all the secrecy, in his recent interview (which is quoted in 2 articles) Gurley said he would not let the combine people look at his knee. That's interesting. Suggests he likes to keep those kinds of things to himself as much as he can.
