Notes and highlights from Rams' first week of OTAs

To recap the week of OTAs, below are some notes and highlights from the three-day session in Thousand Oaks.

Attendance

Day 1: Todd Gurley, Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib and Dante Fowler Jr. were all absent. Their absences were expected by Sean McVay.
Day 2: Peters and Talib arrived for OTAs.
Day 3: Fowler joined the team but Gurley remained away.
Notes

Cooper Kupp worked through individual drills as he continues to rehab his torn ACL. McVay said he’s making good progress and is right on track to be ready for Week 1, which is the target for his return. He did catch some passes from Jared Goff on the side.
Goff had a strong string of practices, according to those in attendance. Vincent Bonsignore of The Athletic shared this tweet, saying Goff looked “really, really good” throwing in practice.
