True but in fact it's even better than that for the Rams. One place I looked had the average hit rate for 3rd round picks at 35%. Since 2012, the Rams hit rate in round 3 has been 6 of 7 or 85%.
(Note: to arrive at that number I did not count either Bailey or Mason, both of whom left the league for non-football reasons. If you count Bailey and Mason as misses, it's 6 of 9 or 67%. My one straight-up miss is Mannion, who counts as a miss because he never did anything...though he is still in the league.)
Most teams can't count on the 3rd round the way the Rams have been able to.
It gets even better from 2017 to 2018. That's 3 starters out of 3 3rd round picks---Kupp, Johnson, Noteboom.
The Rams under Snead have just been crazy golden in round 3.
