Not to disagree with you about Warner, but someone I would prefer to see their jersey retired is Steven Jackson. He was our best player while he wore horns, bar none! He gave his all during a 15-65 record stretch. He is my 2nd fav Ram player of all time, behind Isaac Bruce.
He won’t make the HOF, but has has earned the right to be honoured by his primary team.
Great post and you are absolutely right. I'll never forget him tearing through the Niner's D, helmet ripped off bodies flying everywhere. He was a special player during a lot of very UN-special seasons.
