It was pretty ugly to watch.
For 2 weeks before the SB, Mike Lombardi, who has strong connections with the Pats, said the Pats saw Blythe as a major weakness. They targeted Blythe and Sullivan as well. And they had their way with them.
Can Blythe get better? Who knows. But right now, he certainly isn't good enough to play against a good D who will watch the film.
Don't know how you were able to watch it again, but Blythe had one of his worst games, that is for sure, but he was very good most of the year and that is why Brown never got his job back. Blythe very good run blocker especially the zone scheme and he was amazing against the Cowboys, but the Patriots do what they do and went after Blythe in the passing game.
I happen to agree (again shocking Max & I agree) that I would like someone bigger and stronger at RG and maybe Edwards can be that guy or Evans for that matter. Anyway, IMO., Kromer will play his best guy if anyone unseats Blyther, IMO, it will be Edwards and the Los Angeles Rams will have two former Badgers on the right side!
