Re: Matthews is there for the playoffs

I expect them to sub him in at ILB but at his age they're not going to use him up over the regular season and risk him getting worn down. They'll mix him in, keep him moving around, and during much of the season go with a heavy safety sub package and hope they're playing with leads to deter run plays.

So ILB is probably still our weakest defensive position. But come playoffs I think Matthews will man that spot next to Littleton on most snaps per game.
