Since it is usually 3 years to determine the impact of rookies in the NFL, it is fun to go back and look at what picks were traded, what players were eventually taken in that slot and see how they would compare today. The biggest trade for the Rams recently was for Goff in 2016 so looking at how those picks traded and received were used is an interesting exercise:
Rams receive QB Jared Goff, ILB Nick Kwiatkoski and TE Temarrick Hemingway for WR Corey Coleman, DT Austin Johnson, RB Derrick Henry, OT Shon Coleman, WR Corey Davis and TE Jonnu Smith.
Rams receive WR Pharoh Cooper and WR Mike Thomas for ILB Nick Kwiatkoski
