I is tough not to be excited about the potential of adding this guy to the offense.
1. He had a few monster holes to run through and a good offensive line
2. He cuts at the right time and at full speed and never when sideways always forward
3. He breaks tackles right and left it looks like he is playing against terrible tacklers
4. He catches the ball and can make great adjustments while the ball in in the air.
5. He is almost 210 lbs so while he is short he isn't small but powerful and with really good speed
I think McVay is already thinking of a package for this guy. I think he will give them what they always hoped they would get out of Austin. This guy will be fun to watch if they can get him the ball in space.
Yeah, Deacon. And his acceleration seems elite. I noticed that after he defeated a few failed tackle attempts. He was at full speed in about 3 steps.
Upright or not, that is elite.
