But I just don't think anybody is going to give up a mid or late 3rd round pick to move up to 31.
I would LOVE it if it happened, just don't see it happening.
Mid fourth would be my guess, if there is an opportunity to move back at all. Seems like EVERYBODY thinks they are going to move back and grab some extra picks. Again, I love the idea of moving back and always have, but you have to have a partner to do so.
One option to get more value might be to pick up an extra pick or two in next year's draft.
If anybody can make a move to grab some picks, it would be Snead.
Can't wait for the draft
In 2017, the Rams got a 3rd to move back only 7 spots from 37 to 44.
In 2015 with the Hav trade, Snead moved back about 15 picks in the 2nd and got a 3rd.
If they move into the 40-45 range from #31, they will get a lot more than a 4th.
According to the Rich Hill chart, teams have paid a premium when moving into the end of the 1st round because they get that 5th year option. So 31 for 41 and 72 isn’t unreasonable per the trade charts and Snead’s trading history. Maybe we have to give back a 5th or something.
