They have money. This idea they were forced into this is odd.
With Clark at his franchise value of 17 mill, and Russell's new deal they are carrying a 12.5 mill charge for Kam, Doug at 13 mill. That's 25 mill I would expect to be freed up next year. Russell's cap hit in 2020 is 31 mill. Even with resigning Bobby they would have plenty of cash.
Why do people think they can't pay Clark? They choose not to pay him.
