Everett is expected to be the flypaper hands catching TE and Higbee the blocking TE.
Gurley called him a beast and if Goff likes him as long as his next contract fits in the salary cap Rams should keep him around.
Everett also needs to show more this year regarding long term retention.
McVay will need to incorporate the TE’s more into the offense this year, so after this coming season the decision whether to keep either tight end long term will be more apparent.
