a lot of fans are predicating the number of uses by Gurley on a major injury issue when it's more a point that in those 2 games the run game was just about totally shut down because of the way the D's were attacking our O-Line. I think it was in the pats game Todd was stopped , but he popped up and went off the field without any sign of a limp.
I am not saying his use hasn't put miles on his wheels, but again I am not going to ignore the seeming fact (to me) that the O-line was just plain out and out poor in the run game in those last 2 games. I mean CJ wasn't exactly tearing through them when replacing Todd.
And yes I hear Coach saying he's going on a play count from here out with Todd, but I am not so uptight about this issue, which just may be more the need of the Line to man up in the big time games and keep whoever is running clean to the hole (s).
