Talib: 6-1, 202: Shutdown CB, best in the country as a Jr. Besides his great cover skills, Talib had 9.5 tackles for loss in his career and isn't afraid to make a tackle (61 tackles this season, 157 in his career). Projected as a big-time hitter in the pros if he added more weight. Believed to also be capable of a move to free safety, where he was compared to Brian Dawkins. At the combine, Talib cemented his status as a first-round pick by running a 4.47 40. Talib also had one of the best vertical jumps of the combine with a 38-inch jump and he also was one of the top performers in the 3-cone drill (6.82 seconds) and the broad jump (10 feet, 11 inches). Greedy wasn't that impressive in the pedal-and-react, had to restart in the next drill multiple times and then said he was done for the day due to cramping.
Sanders: 6-0, 205: Legendary 40-yard dash at the combine, between 4.19 and 4.29. Multi-sport athlete baseball & track like Bo Jackson, was also drafted by KC in MLB. Since he was drafted in '89, pre-draft scouting on him is scarce but he went 1-5 and was easily considered a generational talent before the draft.
Greedy's scouting doesn't match up to either of these guys. He is taller but lighter by 15-20 lbs, faster than Talib but not as strong or celebrated as Deion. Many scouts feel Deandre Baker and Byron Murphy are better. Greedy's main attribute is his size like Trumaine Johnson.
