He was a bit timid last year, not physical enough for my taste, so I had a note on him to be a mid rounder. This year, he played like an alpha out there. He can play anywhere as a safety, in man or zone including over the slot and he is sideline to sideline. And his willingness to stick his nose in the fan is a total 180 from last year. Like a switch went on.
I think Adderley is more of a punisher like James, G-J is more of a splash play S like Ramsey.
Ford grew on me, I thought he would be some big, overweight sloppy get in your way with his girth OL. He is a great athlete. His 2 biggest problems are sometimes he pops out of his stance straight up and then he has to win with power alone. Thats fine in the Big 12, not in the NFL. He also needs to work on his kick slide, for those 2 reasons I think he is best suited to OG, inside, he has no kick slide and he can get his hand in the dirt and it might help with his popping up.
As for KeeSean Johnson comparing to Robert Woods:
Combine results:
40 time: KJ - 4.6 (4.53 pro day) RW - 4.51
Broad jump: KJ - 9'-9", RW - 9'-9"
3 cone: KJ - 7.28 sec. , RW - 7.14 sec.
Vert: KJ - 30", RW - 33.5"
Bench press: KJ - 14 reps, RW - 14 reps
Shuttle: KJ - 4.23 sec., RW - 4.47 sec.
So athletically they are real close, although Woods is a bit more of an athlete.
As far as size:
Combine measuring:
KJ - 6'-1" 201 lbs. 32" arms, 9.5" hands
RW- 6'-0" 201 lbs. 31" arms, 9.25" hands
They both have functional speed, a willingness to make catches anywhere on the field and have excellent hands. i think KeeSean has the best hands in the draft. he won't wow you athletically, but you can count on him to pull down the football when you need him to. In an offense like mcVays, where athleticism isn't as important as route running and intelligence, I think he makes a ton of sense.
