their 2018 snap counts

I'm not sure what the exact right mix should be. But two things stand out to me that have to change:

One, Gurley played at least 58 snaps in 10 of his 14 games played in the regular season. And in 7 of them it was 62+. The only two where he played less than 50 snaps were the blowout wins vs ARZ and @SF.

Two, in the 12 games he played Brown played 12 or more snaps just 5 times and 20+ just twice (in the two blowout wins mentioned above).

They need more consistency week to week in spelling Gurley. The Rams ran 1,100 on offense snaps last year. Something like 75/25 is probably the most likely scenario for Gurley to be there throughout the season. In the Dallas playoff game with Anderson it was 60/40 which isn't ideal (though of course it worked).

But if you take away those ARZ and SF blowouts a year ago then in the other 10 games Gurley and Brown both played it was 740 snaps to 75 (or a 91/9 split) and that cannot remotely happen this season.

Wonder why there were less swing passes to Gurley in 28 than 17
