I think they'll be able to punch back this year. They've kinda shown that progression. In year one under Mcvay, the offense would get hot and obliterate average defenses but would run cold against elite ones. This year, they could score on just about anyone but when they got punched in the mouth (Philly, Chicago, New England) they failed to rally and adjust. With the deep playoff run and guys like Goff, Kupp, Cooks, and Woods all reaching their prime or still ascending to it, I expect that next year they'll handle pressure situations a lot better. They showed it from the second quarter on in the NFC championship. I think the numbers and stats will be the same but with much more confidence in themselves as opposed to just the scheme.
