At Hinsdale Central high school in Illinois, Allen was a stud wrestler. He became the first wrestler in school history to win four state medals, including a perfect 48-0 record in 2013 as a senior. Additionally, he won a state title in the shotput that year.
Of course, he also played football, earning first-team All-State honors as a senior, earning him a scholarship from Michigan State.
