It's fun to think that every pick will be a starter or even contribute, but it doesn't work out that way. Keep in mind here: the Rams had very high picks during many of these drafts and multiple picks. Plus they were a god awful team so some of the scrubs actually played and/or started but were out of the league after they left the Rams.

Many were released or traded away after the Rams released they were not very good: e.g., T Austin, Cooper.

Snead has drafted a Hall of Fame DT in Donald, an all pro running back in Gurley, a franchise Quarterback in Goff. A pro bowl CB in Jenkins, a big time FA in TJ, a pro bowl quality kicker in Zuerlein, Starters In Tree, Havs, Brown, Higbee an all pro returner in Cooper, Starters Kupp and JJ, & EBU, key plus Everett, Johnson and future starters JMF, Noteboom, Allen and KIser.

Couple of other points: Snead and his team have gotten better at drafting. The organization has gotten better at developing draftees. The types of player Snead drafts fit the coach and his scheme. Better coach you get better players.

I think Snead is a guy that is continually improving, willing to take risks and make great trades and who put a Superbowl roster together using the draft, trades, UDFA, and Free agency. I think he ranks up there with the best in the business plus it was his job to find a coach though Demoff and Kronkie had to buy into that as well. I think Snead is probably above the hit rate by a bit but you really need to understand the hit rate associated with the rounds you are picking in and where the round you are picking. But Snead has gotten some stars and those are really hard to find.

Anyway Snead is charged with building the roster and has done a great job and a lot of that has been through the draft. He had a boat anchor tied around his neck with Fisher which hampered his results early on. Plus there is a growing into the job aspect to be considered but he is tops now.
